A fight between the Nigeria Police Force and Shiite protestors at Wuse Market, in the Wuse Zone 6 axis of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is said to have resulted in the deaths of two people.
According to report, when the police deployed tear gas on the demonstrators, the altercation turned violent.
Videos appeared to show that the Wuse Market Police station was attacked by the protesters.
As of the time the report was filed, the Police had not yet responded to the development.
